Canal and River Trust are running a series of community events in May to celebrate the communities around the World Heritage Site.
Activities include:
- How to build a canal with Xplore!
- Sharing local histories and mapping arts and crafts with Sophia Leadill
- An All-age photography workshop with documentary photographer Oliver Stephen
- Welsh-language poet Sara Wheeler
The Trust is also asking if anyone would like to bring photos, or memorabilia, with them on the day this will be added to the community map of the World Heritage Site .
These events are part of The Bridge that Connects, a yearlong art project around the World Heritage Site funded by UK Government UK Shared Prosperity Fund with Wrexham County Borough Council.
